Nuesoft Technologies, Inc. is a healthcare software as a service (SaaS) company headquartered in Marietta, Georgia. NueMD IT intended to analyze the SQL queries sent by its applications to various databases. The purpose of this project is to identify anomalies in the way queries are used. Design Science Research for Information Systems and Technologies (DESRIST) is an academic conference and community of people who conduct or are interested in design science research in information systems and technologies. The group currently has a website at http://desrist.org. As the community grows, the original ASP.Net based website needs to be upgraded to a more dynamic, social, and well managed platform. WordPress.org was chosen for this purpose. People rely on collaborative software to work together and achieve their project goals. The quality of such software may have significant impact on the individual’s performance and outcomes of the projects. While there are many collaborative software on the market, there is no clear guideline on which one to choose for a particular type of project. The server created to host the social hub website (from a previous capstone project) was not properly secured. The team was tasked to conduct comprehensive security and risk analysis of the system. The college is utilizing virtualization technologies intensively to manage lab computers and servers. In this project, the team researched on VMWare Mirage and how it could improve the virtual machine management effectiveness. The college is utilizing the virtualization technology intensively to manage computer applications. In this project, the team was tasked to research on VMware ThinApp which accelerates application deployment and maintenance. The new KSU established a new unit called Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE). OIE facilitates the university’s continuous planning, assessment, and evaluation efforts for the purpose of enhancing the quality of the university’s programs, services, operations and processes. A new website is needed for the unit. A team of students researched eight OIE offices in other universities and then prototyped such a site with the KSU style.
